KERMIT DAHL
FOR MAYOR
Doing the little things right
make the big things happen.
After serving for 4 years on Campbell River City Council, I've seen the issues we face as a community up close - many of them are personal.
We are in the midst of a housing crisis. We need improved public safety measures, which includes support for those struggling with addiction and homelessness. Our local businesses are struggling. And our current political leadership can only seem to find solutions in raising taxes, and patting themselves on the back that we aren't the last in line when it comes to comparable cities in BC.
We can do better. I truly believe that by doing the little things right, we can make big things happen for Campbell River.
PRIORITIES
Develop a Community Safety Plan, which includes a city-backed plan for providing support for our most vulnerable community members
Spend the money already set aside for public improvement projects like sidewalk instalments
Create and maintain an efficient workplace culture in Campbell River City Hall
Increase available lot inventory for development
